CUT RESISTANT 3/4 PANT WITH REMOVABLE PROTECTIONS
€235.00
Cut Resistant Devices: a shirt, trousers and neck protector made of innovative fabric,
results of Energiapura research. Cut resistant garments that protect athletes from possible
cuts from ski edges or other sharp bodies in the event of a fall or collision. The realization
of these garments was requested by the FIS (International Ski Federation) due to the
increase in the number of serious accidents from cuts in competition and training. The
innovation is linked to the combination of the technical characteristics of the fabric and
the wearability of the garments with those of ensuring high-level sports performance. The
garments are certified EN 388: 2004 CUT RESISTANCE LEVEL 3 and recognized by the
FIS through an official LABEL corresponding to the tests of the International Federation.

WEARING CONDITIONS
Particular attention must be paid when wearing the 3/4 Cut Resistant trousers, so that they can provide the expected protection. The final part of the trousers is made up of a final elastic band in Lycra: it must cover and follow the calf inside the boot liner and stopped inside with the closure of the knee-high hooks, thus allowing the Cut Resistant fabric to fully protect the legs up to the coverage provided by the plastic boot cuff. In this way the Cut Resistant fabric fulfills its purpose of total protection, also keeping the fabric adherent and preventing it, during the movements of the activity, from moving up the leg leaving the calf exposed. This solution grants even greater wearability and comfort to the garment, allowing the necessary adaptation for athletes of the same size, in the various differences in shape and length of the legs. The garment worn must absolutely respect this condition of total coverage of the leg up to the boot cuff: the Lycra part does not protect from cuts and its function is to remain inside the cuff. If the size of the leg does not allow this condition, another size of trousers must be worn that corresponds to this need. When purchasing, it is always advisable to try the garment together with the boots to verify that the Lycra gaiter actually remains stuck inside the liner once the cuff is closed and to test that during bending movements on the legs, it does not rise up leaving the calf exposed.
